Casio Watches

Casio

Over the years, I have had a favourite in just about anything that I like, just like anyone else. Where it concerns watches, Casio has always been my favourite. For the most part, they all look good and come in a wide range of types. There are chronographs, analog-digital watches, calculator watches, straight analog, and straight digital. You have some that have plastic bands and others with steel bands. No matter the type and shape, there is an appeal that Casio watches have to many people. There are other brands that do rival Casio, but since each person’s taste differs, … Continue Reading “Casio Watches”

Colgate Toothpaste

Colgate Toothpaste

Clean teeth are what everyone wants. Not only clean but also white and pretty. Toothpaste have played an integral role to this end, creating beautiful smiles all over the world. Colgate is one of the best toothpastes around. There are many variations of this name-brand toothpaste that tickles the fancy of its many users. From regular to mint fresh, I have found it to be quite nice. I particularly like the Colgate Herbal which has a “tangy” taste to it. The toothpaste with fresh mint strips is also a nice twist to the whole toothpaste taste.

There are other brands … Continue Reading “Colgate Toothpaste”

ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

ZoneAlarm
With the levels of spam and phishing and hacking and snooping and viruses that are prevalent nowadays, it is very important that the computers (or any other device for that matter) that we use to access the internet has some level of protection on it. Taking into consideration the things I just mentioned, it would mean that you would have to install anti-spam and anti-virus software, along with adware catchers and even a firewall program. That is quite a lot of programs to go out and buy and then install them. One software that I have been using for some … Continue Reading “ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite”

HTML and PHP Editor Software

There are many pieces of software on the market that can be used to write and edit HTML and PHP files. Some of the ones I have used include:

1. PHP Expert Editor
2. HapEdit
3. EvrSoft HTML Editor
4. Macromedia Dreamweaver

They are all good programs. I use PHP Expert Editor mostly when I am writing PHP pages, since it has a built-in engine that can execute the files from within itself (you must have PHP installed on your computer). Evrsoft has the ability to allow you to view the HTML file you are creating in real time. So … Continue Reading “HTML and PHP Editor Software”

Light Bulbs – Incandescent vs. Fluorescent

Light Bulbs - RegularLight Bulbs - Fluorescent

Are you an energy-conscious person? Perhaps you have a big house that needs a lot of light. What type of light bulbs do you use? I have seen over the years that regular incandescent light bulbs tend to draw a lot of electricity and generate a lot of heat. This is compounded when the ceiling is low or if the air flow through the building is not moving. The truth be told, though, fluorescent bulbs do generate a little bit of heat, but they save on your monthly and yearly energy bills. If you do not believe me, here is a … Continue Reading “Light Bulbs – Incandescent vs. Fluorescent”

Coke Zero – Life As It Should Be

Have you seen the latest Coca Cola soda? Better yet, have you tasted it? The fact that it has the word “zero” as a part of its name means something is missing from it. Yep, it’s called Coke zero and, yes you guessed it, it has no sugar. As part of the promotion of their new flavour, the Coca Cola company has dug up some old black and white film clips that they allow you, as the director, to manipulate using a voice recorder that is very easy to use. “The conversation” for your edited clip can even be written … Continue Reading “Coke Zero – Life As It Should Be”

There are a number of industrial cleaners that are used to remove grease and other harmful compounds from electronic components. An effective cleaner and degreaser for electrical and electronic equipment is Lexite NF. Developed by Chemsearch, it is fast and has a clean evaporation. If used as directed it is noncorrosive and non-conductive. I have used it on many occasions when cleaning equipment and it has worked each time.
