If you want to start blogging, there are a number of places that you can visit. The two most popular blogging platforms are WordPress and Blogger. Now, based on what you know about them and the experience you have had using any of them, you would know which one you are comfortable with. WordPress is my favourite blog hosting platform because it can be installed on my own domain, as is the case with Review Central, the blog you are reading now. It is also very flexible, allowing you to install plugins that help to make blogging more fun and rewarding. At one time I had my blog hosted at WordPress.com, but hosting it myself is more exciting. I have greater control over the look and feel of the blog and I am free to make any adjustments that I like. Talk about flexible!
Blogger itself is not bad. I used to use it for some other blogs that I have, but since I was unable to do a lot of extra things on Blogger like I am able to do with WordPress, I switched them all to WordPress. There we go again, WordPress rules! So, where are you blogging? Which platform do you prefer?
